Who we are

The Nomadic Homes team is made up of experienced engineers and builders, passionate about designing and developing high-quality prefabricated wood-frame houses with Nordic sensibilities. We have already built more than 57,000 sqm of projects in the traditional construction sector but now our sole focus is on the manufacture and construction of functional, flexible wooden A-frame houses.

We work with best-in-class architects, structural engineers and designers to provide innovative solutions across every phase of development and construction, with the goal of delivering an optimal final product which caters to the unique needs of each customer.

Before launching Nomadic Homes, we mainly worked in the traditional construction sector, developing everything from large apartment complexes and hotels to individual homes. While these projects were always successful, we noticed some recurring issues.

These traditional construction projects took several years to complete, they offered limited insulation options, and we regularly encountered unexpected costs, delays, and design & implementation issues. On top of these other problems, the carbon footprint was always large, as it usually is in the traditional construction sector. These experiences frustrated us, but they also inspired us.

This is why we’ve launched Nomadic Homes—to offer high-quality, eco-friendly wood homes without running into the issues we faced with typical construction projects. We believed there could be a better way of doing things, so we built it ourselves from the ground up.

At Nomadic Homes, our mission is to provide high-quality, wooden A-frame houses for customers throughout Europe. To achieve our goal, we have replaced the cumbersome model of traditional design and construction with our own simplified, streamlined process.

We believe that building your new house should be as easy as buying a car—you start by picking the body (the structure and size of the house) and then you select the ‘add-ons’ (bedrooms, bathrooms, etc.). This is why we offer 12 pre-designed, structurally certified models to choose from. With our straightforward process you know exactly what you’re going to get—how it looks, how long it takes, and how much it costs—without having to deal with architects, engineers, electricians, plumbers, or any other factor which could waste time and money.

Our simplified approach has been designed to make the entire journey as seamless as possible for everyone—without compromising on our core commitment to functional design, high-quality materials, and ideal layouts for contemporary nomads and families.
